Ethiopian runner Tigst Assefa won the women’s elite race, setting a new record with a time of two hours, 15 minutes and 50 seconds.

A 38-year-old was arrested and taken to hospital due to a self-inflicted injury after the incident in Otley Road, Leeds, on Saturday, police said.
