Jan 5, 2018 · The only thing I will say, is you will be able to use the stock air cooling together with the watercooling, making it possible to still use the Alienware without the watercooling!!! Oct 2, 2015 · @Prema I am having issues with the clevo 1.1.1 vbios in my Alienware 17 R1. I have a 980m I installed using the 3 pipe heatsink and I keep having the card overheat, but only in certain games. ie.

Apr 18, 2015 · Obviously because the gt780 heatsink piping is different from say, gt72 or alienware, but I just need the aluminium part on top of the card right? Im asking because a friend said that the piping is usually too fragile for me to be able to take the aluminium off, its too tight.

I did stumble upon another forums that suggested this place and see if anyone here would be willing to help mod the bios or know where I can find already modded bios.
