Our Zoo Keepers participate in regular training exercises with our animals, to maintain trust in their working relationship, and also allow us to provide better care! Even an exercise like tossing nutrition into the air and observing how this crested coua dives out to catch it can give animal keepers a chance to observe the animal's reaction time, physical wellness, and other key factors.
