Following a Species Survival Plan (SSP) breeding recommendation, an endangered wrinkled hornbill hatched for the first time at the Zoo! The parents nested and reared the chick in an artificial nest cavity, which was developed by Zoo staff for an in-situ Asian hornbill conservation project underway in Borneo.
