NEWS UPDATE: Day 5 of the bail hearing of former fisheries minister Bernhard Esau and his son-in-law Tamson Hatuikulipi in the Windhoek Magistrate's Court. The state has said it has two more witnesses whose evidence it wants the court to hear. Deputy commissioner Manfred Jatamunua, officer in charge of Windhoek Correctional Facility, is testifying about conditions in the prison. The Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (nbc) is extending an invitation to members of the public in northern Namibia to attend an exciting "Meet and Greet" event that will take place at the nbc stand within the Ongwediva Trade Fair tomorrow at two o'clock in the afternoon. The unique opportunity allows individuals to interact with radio and television presenters as well as the newly crowned Miss Namibia. nbc's communications manager Beaulah Boois-Beukus says they are looking forward to the event.
