This autumn is special — it’s a mast year in the UK. 🐿️🌳 Oak trees are producing a bumper crop of acorns, making it the perfect time to begin your own oak-growing journey. Head to your local park and find a beautiful oak tree. Look closely — the best acorns are often still on the tree or freshly fallen nearby. Try to pick the largest, smoothest ones that are beginning to turn from green to brown. Avoid any that are cracked, wrinkled, or have holes. Once you’ve gathered your acorns, follow this
