Beartooth Pass. Beartooth Pass is the summit of the Beartooth Highway, a scenic route connecting Red Lodge, Montana, to the Northeast Entrance of Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. Known for breathtaking alpine scenery with high mountain peaks, glacial lakes, and diverse ecosystems, it reaches over 10,000 feet elevation and is often called "the most beautiful drive in America". Beautifully camouflaged snowshoe hares bookend this medley of wildlife activity from a few different camera locations just last month. Between the hares are a lynx (look at that slipper foot!), a wolf and then a coyote at the same spot (see the differences), some wild horses on the run, some elk amidst hoarfrost, and a fox, of course marking a spot at the overlook. #yukonwildlife | Yukon Wildlife Cams

From early March, an entertaining series of a pair of Canada lynx interacting one evening. While their vocalizations seem to be in conflict, their behaviors seem friendly. One lynx then continued to stay in front of the camera for several hours after this, napping and vocalizing, which resulted in another 85 nighttime videos which I have yet to sort through. #yukonwildlife | Yukon Wildlife Cams
