We’re heartbroken by what’s unfolding. 💔 As the government shutdown continues, we’re already seeing more families turning to BBDB for help with basic needs. But what’s coming next is even more alarming. If EBT/SNAP food benefits stop on November 1st, countless parents won’t know how they’ll feed their children. Approximately 1.5 million children are receiving SNAP benefits in Texas. This isn’t about politics. This is about people — babies, toddlers, and families who are already stretched thin.
