Here’s the view from Norfork Dam today. We’re currently releasing water through the spillway gates, siphon tube and hydropower generators. The total combined release is roughly 5,500 cubic feet per second. This is a non-damaging release. The spillway operation is aimed at improving dissolved oxygen levels in the downstream tailrace of the North Fork River.
