Question in the Grave — Islamic Reminder about the Grave

Why am I sitting in a hole with steps adjoining the grave of little Florence Irene Ford who died of Yellow Fever in 1871 at the age of 10 years old. This is one of the most unique and famous graves at Natchez City Cemetery in Natchez, Mississippi. Florence was terrified of storms.
