We jump, balance, and create our shapes while on our toes, so getting used to the before we start dancing is important! Jo starts with a flat foot on the floor. They lift their heel to shift their weight onto their toe. Their weight is towards the big toe knuckle. If they try to get the little toe knuckle to touch the floor, their ankle rocks out at an uncomfortable angle. #IrishStep
