Shocking video footage has captured the moment a 12-year-old boy was hit by a car as he tried to cross a road in #Caerphilly town centre. The collision took place on Nantgarw Road near the Piccadilly pub at around 3.30pm on Wednesday, December 28. The video shows Connor Ballett crossing the road to catch up with his friends when a car strikes him. His mum, April Thorne, said the car was then apparently driven off, leaving her son injured and in shock. Gwent Police are appealing for information.
