I wrote this song about the moments before the first kiss with my first boyfriend. That first love is something so beautiful and this song always takes me right back to that moment many many years ago, in that house by the beach, just two kids as nervous as each other. This is a song I was asked to write by someone who has become a very dear friend of mine after our paths crossed four years ago because of our mutual love of music. Many of you know my song "Winter Bear". I'm still so honoured to receive messages from bereaved parents about the song and what it means to them and their families. For those who have read the story of "Winter Bear" you also know "Grandpa", the one who asked me to help him write the song for his Grandson. Well, Grandpa's name is Ad.
